Look was established in Nevers France in 1951. Look's claim to fame is the Pivot Turntable. The Pivot binding is a favourite amongst freestyle skiers worldwide. Their binding offering is based on different technologies that allow all skiers to find the right solution for their selected boots, from racing, alpine skiing, to freeride and touring. Look bindings are known as the industry leader in elastic travel, the mechanical property most important to accurate binding function. They boast a 180 degree, the multi-directional release of the toe to help mitigate injury in the event of a backward, twisting fall, the type so commonly associated with ACL tears. Look bindings also have a short mounting footprint which helps to reduce the flat, dead spot under the skier's boot and provide around, even, natural ski flex.
